Learn all about how to get your students involved in Citizen Science
Join us for this exciting PD webinar designed to bring real-world science into your classroom through the power of citizen science! In partnership with SciStarter, this training will introduce teachers to the dynamic world of citizen science, where students can actively contribute to scientific research. Learn about the upcoming Citizen Science Month and how you can integrate projects that engage students as contributors to data collection and observation.
Our featured project, in collaboration with Instant Wild and National Geographic, will spotlight the use of camera traps—remote cameras used to capture images of wildlife for conservation research. You’ll discover how to guide your students in observing animal behavior, collecting data, and supporting conservation efforts, all while developing critical thinking and observation skills. Perfect for all grade levels, this webinar is a unique opportunity to add an interactive, impactful tool to your teaching toolkit. Don’t miss out on empowering your students to become real-world scientists from the classroom!
